It’s great to read the latest good news for Construction activity set for double-digit growth this year as the industry continues its strong rebound from the impact of Covid.
Royal Clean have noticeably experienced an increase in tender enquiries with more residential and commercial projects coming to completion and requiring builders and sparkle cleans.
The Construction Product Association have sounded a note of caution though with downgraded growth forecasts with slight fears of the impact from supply constraints for key imported construction products and uncertainty around demand for housing new builds, and commercial space.
But the stats show that construction activity accelerated in the first quarter of the year, although the story varies from sector to sector. Infrastructure was least affected by the initial lockdown, and is set to motor ahead 29%, reaching its highest level on record.
We have a low turnover of our cleaning staff but we only expect that there will be indeed shortages of ‘good’ cleaning staff in the coming 12 months.
